The Municipality of Rixensart wanted a quick and definitive solution for its scout rooms in Rosières

The Rosières scouts had been in dilapidated containers for quite some time. The Municipality of Rixensart wanted a quick and definitive solution to this housing problem. In the past, Symobo has already developed modular container solutions for the municipality.

The scout area is located in a park environment with specific urban planning requirements: a sloped roof and wooden cladding. It is not easy to assemble modules with prefab. This time, steel construction therefore seemed to us to be a more appropriate construction method. We proposed a robust industrial building with a gable roof and wooden wall. Affordable, youth movement-proof and appropriate in the green decor.

Symobo built a closed steel structure with a saddle roof in 8 weeks. A polished concrete slab was chosen as the floor. The open room has a sanitary area, separated with insulated sandwich panels. The scouts feel completely at home in the new classrooms.
