For a major player in the automotive market in Oostakker, Symobo installed a prefabricated control building at the new site entrance. This installation was part of an overall concept with which the company wanted to anticipate the production requirements and material flow of the future.
Symobo started at the shipyard 5 weeks after agreeing to the proposal. After 2 weeks, the new 100 m² control building was ready for use.
“The comprehensive approach proposed by Symobo charmed the decision making unit. Moreover, the proposed implementation deadline was very sharp. Symobo met that deadline perfectly and proved that it really is a quality service provider. And that from design to implementation.”
“System construction was a very conscious choice when awarding this project. The buildings had to be able to be put into use quickly. And — very importantly — they had to be reusable and portable. Environment and sustainability were focal points in the overall concept. Moreover, limiting waste always starts with preventing waste — and therefore also degradation. That is why they wanted to be able to move the buildings in question during a later extension or a new constellation. Symobo helped make that possible.”
“There were high thermal insulation requirements for the building. This is also in line with the story of sustainability and ecological construction that characterizes the client today. By insulating properly, you make optimal use of energy. This is not only important for cars and trucks when they are driving. Even when they're made.”
“Symobo is a quality service provider, from design to implementation. “- Jo d'Haese, project leader”
